Peace of Mind Surveys in Royal Wootton Bassett

The list of checks is the same, but with older buildings I take extra care over visible joints, fixings and signs of past repairs. What I see goes straight into the report in plain words.

No, and I would rather be upfront about that. The survey leaves out any gas inspection, certificate or safety check on gas appliances, which belongs to a gas engineer, and I can point you in that direction if needed.

A newer house can still have a loose connection, a tap that does not run properly or a radiator with trapped air. A short check now means you know the state of things from the start.

Not for the survey itself. I work from Highworth and travel to Royal Wootton Bassett for it, so give me your address and when you will be home and I will confirm the arrangement.

It is useful information, and I would like to hear exactly what they said. I check what is visible and working when I am there, and the report records what I found.

Yes, I work through every room with plumbing in it. Each basin, bath, shower and toilet I can reach is looked at and tested, and I record which ones are fine and which are not.

I bleed them where it is appropriate, rather than blindly doing every one. If a radiator is cold for another reason, bleeding will not help, and I say so in the report.

The survey is for people who have just moved in or are about to, so tell me your dates when you get in touch.

It is yours to keep and use. If it recommends remedial work, you can decide whether to act on it, get another opinion or ask me about doing it.

Boxes are fine as long as I can reach the sinks and radiators. Being there means I can show you things in person, which tends to be clearer than any note.
